Why did you choose to work for Dell Inc.?

Because I was taught that it’s one of the best companies in the industry

How did you find your internship?

I found my internship through the NSBE National Conference

Why was it beneficial for you to register for credit(s) through the Internship Program?

More credit hours and internship experience on my transcript is good for my record

What advice would you give a student who is in the process of applying to an internship?

Go to different national conferences . Join the NDSU NSBE chapter, it’s open for everyone and there are a lot internship, networking and even full time opportunities through it

What was the most rewarding part of your internship experience?

Networking and gaining a lot new work place skills in my field. I could never get this kind of experience in a class.

What was the most challenging part of your job? How did you overcome these obstacles?

Adapting to the new environment and people around me

How has your internship shaped your ideas for your career? Has it changed your career path?

A lot things, I found my interest for my research focus area and was able to work new professional mentors. They were great at helping me shape my career path.

Would you recommend having an internship?

Yes, definitely. It makes you very competitive on full-time job applications and internships most of the time end up resulting in a full time offer.

Did your internship help you get a job after graduation? If so, how?

Yes, the company I interned with promised they want me back, but it’s not official yet
