Located in the heart of downtown Bismarck, NDSU Nursing at Sanford Health has updated their marketing materials! Each spring and fall semester, approximately 40 students are admitted to this nationally accredited program which boasts a less then an 8:1 student/clinical educator ratio. The Nursing Program course objectives, policies and procedures are identical between the Fargo and Bismarck sites. Those who are looking into a career in Nursing may be interested to know that the growth of this field is expected to increase over the next few years. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (2018), “Employment of registered nurses is projected to grow 15 percent from 2016 to 2026, much faster than the average for all occupations. Growth will occur for a number of reasons, including an increased emphasis on preventive care; growing rates of chronic conditions, such as diabetes and obesity; and demand for healthcare services from the baby-boom population, as they live longer and more active lives.” Please view the NDSU Nursing at Sanford Health’s new guide here.
