First Destination Survey Informed Consent

You are invited to participate in the First Destination Survey. This survey is being conducted by the NDSU Career Center in conjunction with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), our national association.

The purpose of this survey is to examine student’s professional and academic career outcomes following graduation. Your participation in this survey will contribute to a better understanding of what NDSU students do after graduating. This data is used to compile a statistical employment profile of our graduates.

If you agree to participate:

The survey will take approximately 3-5 minutes of your time, although it could take longer depending on your answers. Participation will involve answering questions about a variety of topics that may include your job search, employment status, pursuit of additional education, and engagement with institutional resources.

Risks / Benefits

There are no known risks. Data obtained may be beneficial to NDSU and contribute to a greater understanding of student career outcomes following graduation.

Incentives / Compensation

There is no compensation for participating in this research.

Confidentiality

Data obtained from participants will be reported in aggregate format (by reporting only combined results and never reporting individual ones). Only the NDSU Career Center, NDSU Alumni Association and academic department will have access to individual responses. The data collected will be stored on Formsite-secure database and an Access database stored on an NDSU secure server until it has been deleted by the primary investigator.

Participation

Participation in this research study is completely voluntary. You have the right to withdraw at anytime. If you desire to withdraw, please close your internet browser.
